New olive, picked up on the weekend, Just a little fellah thats easy to move around the garden , kind of reminds me of the olives our south african friend on here posts sometimes.

Very nice tree! One of the most naturalistic and well proportioned yamadori olives I have seen. Would love to see progress with this tree.

Yes most people have them produce roots quickly. I have never had sucess tho.

i just got three new shoots on main root from an 500 years old wild olives . here is a one shot

i was so please with it, and in few days it starts to shoot new white roots

would love to see photos of the original tree too. We will have to wait a while before we have olives that old here in Australia! Those ancient trees are stunning! I have seen a few olive Bonsai around here which have that same appeal as the Eastern/Mediterranean trees but as a credit to there design and artistry to create an aged appearance. What an inspiration it would be to see these old trees in person.

I will have few pictures there is a tree estimated 1000 year old. Wonder natural art. All others are 400-500 years old.
I will have pictures for you in Mediterranean middleast we have very old trees since roman empire
What do u think about my future bonsai will it be a nice one with this wood root lower part?
