This is an Australian member of the Liliaceae family a native to WA prefers well drained shallow rocky soils in a sunny protected position, and is drought and frost resistant.
Common name in WA is a resurrection plant as it dies down in summer and pops up when the rains come in autumn and winter propagation is by root division.
I have found this to be hit and miss I am still trying to get better results.
