Hello there folks, can anyone tell me if they have ever had a Bonsai of the Pin Oak and how it panned out? Were they happy with the result? Do they leaf reduce at all? I had always though the leaves were too big for a Bonsai. Am I wrong?
Many Thanks

I have seen a magnificent one which is owned by one of our UK bonsai potters. It is 34" tall and has leaves that average out at 2". Like much bonsai over here, it has been a lifetime undertaking, Your conditions down under may make the grade much quicker.
