Hey folks,
Thought I'd post up a couple of trees I am working on for advice and opinion/critique
First is a small pine I picked up a couple of weeks ago, was initially going to lose the top section but it developed into where it is now after some investigation and subsequent wiring

And here is a juniper that I worked over at the course on the weekend

Cheers, look forward to your thoughts

Can you bend the top of the pine, so the foliage face to the left, sort of on top and staggered over the first pad....so you can make more unified design.
Then from the second branch you can develop your second primary branch to the right or make it wind swept.

Hi Kez,
Out of interest, why did you decide to remove the rear branch on the pine and create a jin?

That was a branch that had been removed earlier and was a stump about 5cm long, all dead wood already. The original front showed the Jin much better but now it's not such a prominent feature.
Cheers for the ideas so far folks
