Collected Desert Ash.....

Hi guys here there is a desert ash that i have rencently collected, any suggestion about the future style....cheers :D

I agree with Gabriel, but would also remove most of the other twigs coming from the back

Keep one as a branch there, but having a head of them will cause a swelling

if 'twas mine, i would smash it back to the red cut, selecting one branch from the dozen on the left to heal the 'v' cut.

the new leader in blue would have to be moved up and left to eventually sit above the nebari (which i haven't seen) i think...

nice one son! i say trunk chop on the red line, cut all the branches off and leave stubbs for now. and let it pop again. :D

From what I can see there that big straight branch is ingrown and its removal would probably leave an ugly scar, may even have to start again below that. Of course then you're going to lose your bend though.

the scar can be used to carve a feature or they heal very quickly on ash. :D

But it looks like the in grown branch is still there lurking around the corner, what are you going to do about that?
