Can anyone give me a link to this grafting technique please. I have seen a few pics but not read a detailed explanation of the process. I also heard it was Mr. Urushibata who first created this method but might be wrong there... so if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Ebihara Technique
Hey Shane,
Bonsai focus had an article on it with mr. Urushibata.
For those not familiar with it, it involves removing and relocating fully mature branches on maples.
Another article of interest is from kinbon where Ebihara removed a 4 inch section of trunk from tree and grafted the remaining sections back together, shortening the trunk. Crazy. No idea what issue though. It was a few years ago.
