Hi all was hoping someone can give me some guidance on the best method to bend the below cedar back on itself.

I would like to change the direction it comes out of the pot I Invisage the tee coming out to the right and where the raffia is bending back on itself to form a u shape.

Any ideas Image

Eliass, search for "radical approach to an ugly Cedar." There's some decent info in there.

Cheers,

I have not done cedar, but plenty Junipers and they should be similar

A layer of raffia, then wire, then more raffia then wire.
Give it a good bend while feeling for cracking

You can also hollow out the trunk and put wire inside like I did with radiata, or just drill out and or split as well
