Liquid for loopeozzie

G,day I was pm'ed about Liquidambars. Loop wants to dig some up.
The single trunk was 3metres tall when I dug it in 1986. I did not at that time know the right or wrong time for collecting. It was done in June. As you can see it is still going well. The group was put together in 1997. It has been re-potted twice since the both times in winter. Again you can see it is well.
It started out with 30 trees but has increased to 41 by suckers.

I've got to say Pup that I've avoided Liquid Ambers like the plague because I've never seen one that I liked but, as usual, you have some impressive examples there! The last one especially.

How tall is the last one?

wow thanks pup i will be looking forward to diggin them both up exelent colour.I will also try strik a few of the top branches.

If you have luck in striking them let me know how. That's is one thing I have never been able to get them to strike from cuttings. Air-layering is a good way to go.
That I have had success with.

The height is 1 metre it is 900mm across
The group is the same height.

thanks for the advice pup i will try both ways to get a strike. everything i have seems to be trying to bloom atm a few warm days and off everything goes. everything is looking good.
