I decided to tackle the overgrown rosemary bush in my vegetable "garden" (aka bunnings half wine barrel pot). I must have got 4 or 5 woolworths bunches off it, but I got a little excited when I saw how much bigger its trunk had gotten since I bought the seedling 18months ago...
Now it's hacked into shohin.
*corrected error, so now it actually says what it is*

Ha Ha.
Nice...
My damn Rosemary always struggles for some reason...
I just don't get the stupid thing..
I manage to grow everything else well but Rosemary just refuses to flourish!
Any tips?

I'm in Brisbane. Maybe it's the weather? It's winter and doing well. Even when I got lazy with watering it outlasted every other plant in the barrel.
It shared pot space with a basil plant (gone to seed), sweet potato, thyme (dead), and shallots. It's in straight searles brand potting mix, hardly ever fertilise, water daily in mornings, gets sun all day in summer, and lunch time to 5pm in winter. That barrel is on a balcony and I have no yard so my plants get what sun they can get.

Hey what's an RDO ?

Is that anything like a public holiday or annual leave ? That looks good - I think it would be a good time of year to put that into a bonsai pot.

RDO = rostered day off.
It might die yet, bougy. Anyone want some rosemary? I don't think the neighbours are going to want all of these trimmings, ha!

Rostered Day Off

Something I've been trying to get my boss to give us for a while now

The place I used to work, you'd work an extra half hour a day, and have a day off every third week or so
Have a native rosemary myself (Westringia)... but is a long way from a bonsai pot

Doubt it'll ever make it that far to be honest, but I can't just throw it away
