Sort out the black pine stocks

hi all
i have been cleaning up the JBP stocks(all 200 of them) that i have grown since 2004. the trunks were bent in 2005 when they were two year old saplings and have been worked on in the last three years to keep the top controled and keep the bottom branches alive. the best ones with low sacrifice branch are in the ground. the ones i am show you now are at the stage that they are to be maintain and develop the branch structures, (thick branches are taken out, shorten back to inner bud to introduce taper into the branches, needles thinned out and shoot selected to two).
this is the first time that the branches are wired and i know they are not big and thick by any means, but the bark is starting to show age and the nebari on most of them are flaring out nicely. i am aiming for trees with the height of under 45cm with this batch. As the abundance of branches began to take shape, i expect the trunk to double in thickness in 3-4 years time. so i will keep you all posted to see if the plan eventuates. (for some reason the trees looked flat in the photos
)
