The fish's spine

One of a few junipers collected last september & the other half of my shohin competition tree viewtopic.php?f=148&t=14750&p=152317. Its the most interesting arrangement of branches I have ever seen & is going to be lot of fun to come up with a design.
The original growing angle was kept when potted up after collecting.

The top is all deadwood, i have cleaned out some of the soft wood but still have much more to do.

I think a lot of the design will hinge on this first branch that is already partly split from the trunk.

I'll bring up a pad and pencils, we'll draw some ideas up.

I would consider splitting the trunk into two or more sections and working from there. I have a tree that was similar- I called it "The Cock's Comb". Will dig up pictures...
