The tree is taller than me (I’m 1,74cm tree is around 1.90 maybe a little taller)
My neighbor is a little bit screwed up the root, and I had to cut it off with saw in half because it was all frayed and torn.
For now I’ll keep it in this bucket. On that 2 places I whant new roots come of so I have cut it a bit and put on rooting hormone.
My English is not perfec t so I can’t explain everything .
Any suggestion or advice?

Hey Vlad,

I'm not sure if a thuja will back-bud, but you seem to be doing the right thing. I suggest you keep the soil evenly damp, but not too wet, and be sure to try to spray the foliage with water twice a day if possible. I also recommend posting this query on internet bonsai club forum. Most of its users are Northern Hemisphere based so their seasons are the same as yours.

Cheers, and welcome to Ausbonsai!

Andrew

They will. But like F. Benji they'll do it where and when they feel like. T. are generally slow moving - keep it alive and keep triming the top. Eventually you'll get some buds at the base of the old branches.
