Hi guys

I've looked at getting some Kaneshin tools and noticed they sold trimming scissors and bonsai scissors. What's the difference between them in terms of when they are designed to be used?

Thanks for your insight.

The trimming scissors are longer and skinnier to get into the branches while trimming. The bonsai shears are more general purpose and usually will cut heavier thicknesses.

Yes... whatever you do, don't use the trimming scissors for anything heavy duty cutting. They'll end up all bent out of shape like mine are after the weekend

Here is a picture of the scissors left to right, Root scissors, although most people do not use them for that. Next pruning scissors, then trimming scissors or bud scissors.

All of them Kaneshine, used for many years with out a problem, easy to clean and hold their edge well.
