This little Acacia Senegal is being trained in the South-African Pierneef style. The foto from the front doesnt give the 3dimensional view I would like so i post one from the top too. Any comments or advice welcome.

Lennard,
I am not familiar with the South-African Pierneef style. Is this a local style where you live?
I would like to learn more about this style if you are willing to share.
Thanks,
Paul

That's a great tree, top view shows it to the best advantage you're right. Pierneef refering to this chap?

Finding the Bonsai Giraffes to eat it into that style would be the tricky bit I'm guessing?

Here is another link showing some of his artwork and a description of the bonsai style as well.
Lennard,
I really like your styling of the tree, I think your definatly on the right track. I think the peirneef style woruld look great on a eyuc as some of his art works resemble many large old gums seen here in Oz. If you have any previous progression shots of this tree it would be great to see them, as well as future progression. look forward to seeing more of your tree/s.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the links.
I have been working with a few A. farnesiana that I started from seed several years ago. Unfortunately, Acacia is not a popular tree for bonsai here and there is not much information available on developing them as such.
Cheers,
Paul

Yes/No - its at this moment a co-owned plant. My friend and I bought a few trees a few months ago and havent split then up between us. My friend likes this tree very much and I like the one Buxus. He is probably going to take the Acacia and me the buxus. Here is the Buxus:
