Hi.

I have had this Gum tree from tube stock, in the ground for the last two years, growing in the ground. First time at placeing my ground growen natives in a pot. My plan is to leave it in this pot for about two years, form a better root system, lower the height a bit and work on branches.

This is only my second tree from ground, to pot i have attempted.

Comments please.

Regards.
Irish. :aussie:

I've got what looks to be the same thing at home (from the colour of the trunk and leaf shape), but its labeled Eucalyptus cladocalyx var. nana? :lost:

That being said, I bought it from the green shed, so I don't know how accurate the label is :|

Edit: Yeah, I'm pretty sure its a Dwarf Sugar Gum... but then... i'm no expert lol

Irish - looking good mate. Time will improve it out of sight.
I thought it looked like Eucalyptuc cinerea (Aygyle Apple), but like Budhi, I have been wrong many times.

Sorry, I totally had my plants at home mixed up. What I meant to say was that I think this is a Eucalyptus polyanthemos... not the Sugar Gum I originally thought (I have both at home). My bad

Hi.

Mate, played the roots out, dug a bit of a hole placed a peice of cermatic tile under it, ( bout 12 cm by 12cm) Placed a hand full of soil on top of the tile placed the tree in the middle played the roots out.
