Today apart from putting some bends in some trees, visiting Chojo and buying some new pots I also bought these two and decided to get some work into them. I know there not conventional but I like em... Am always open to opinions on how to improve so feel free to comment

Not sure what I'm going to do with the Jin yet..

may have to make yourself a couple of trunk benders out of railway iron -------if you could get a slow curve into the juniper trunk it could come up ok----or a candidate for an air layer at whatever height you care to choose.--If the pine was mine it would go into a grow box to try to get some lower thickness (taper)--keep the overall height and straightness-- have only one branch coming from one spot--

----oh yes-----and don't remove any dead branches until final design

I don't think I will bend the juniper I will use some deadwood to hide the trunk, I have some interesting wood lying around maybe something like this
