Today apart from putting some bends in some trees, visiting Chojo and buying some new pots I also bought these two and decided to get some work into them. I know there not conventional but I like em... Am always open to opinions on how to improve so feel free to comment

Sorry about the quality, iPhone photos...

may have to make yourself a couple of trunk benders out of railway iron :D -------if you could get a slow curve into the juniper trunk it could come up ok----or a candidate for an air layer at whatever height you care to choose.--If the pine was mine it would go into a grow box to try to get some lower thickness (taper)--keep the overall height and straightness-- have only one branch coming from one spot--

I don't think I will bend the juniper I will use some deadwood to hide the trunk, I have some interesting wood lying around maybe something like this
