Baeckea ?

This Baeckea ( not sure which variety yet)was bought from Cambewarra nursery in 2002.It stayed as a stock plant until 2010 when I did some work on the roots. Layering the nasty bits off in 2011.

Today I did some work on the basic shape I see the tree heading in the future . I was intending to pot it today but a bee took over the tree. So maybe tomorrow.

Regards,
Peter

That's a great tree Peter. If the tools weren't visibly in the pic, I'd have no idea how big or small it is which for me is a great indication that the proportions are spot on!

Thanks for the up-date, I like it. Good trunk width to tree height ratio, good pot and healthy tree. All is good.

Great tree. Good muscling on the trunk particularly, and a graceful design. Good to see it growing into itself.

Thank you all for the comments. Yes Pup, it is a Mirkwood Pot. I try to put my natives in quality Australian pots, which is becoming harder since PK semi retired.

Kind Regards,

Peter

Thank you for the answer, yes it is getting harder, but some of the pots, being made now, are rather nice, very suitable too.
Pity about PK, but he has earned his retirement.

Cheers Pup.

It's a beautiful tree! I have one planted in the garden, over 25 years old. Is it suitable to take air layers from? (Is this the right place to ask?)
