Here are a couple of my thicker sticks collected olives and some Grewias, the small one is a cutting under 12 months February next year it will be 12 months.
A mame privet in one of 42 mice pots as is the small C,elm cultivar. A couple of Casuarinas, Cunninghamii ,still being grown out, and Equisetifolia.
Sorry about the focus, they looked OK on the screen. These are for those that wish to see them, if you don't then don't look.
Cheers Pup

To start with where is the stoking ego icon

Once again you inspire pup. I have a couple of trees at home I am working towards something like these but now I realise how far I have to go

Those last two are amazing, I actuallly pulled the battery out of the remote to check the size
Thankyou for taking the time to post these. Do you have a post somewhere showing a pregression from collected to a shoin tree. I would love to see the process you take to get the trees to this size and still look like a tree.

That's not a sacrifice branch, that is thickening up to become the primary branch.
Cheers Pup

LOL! You and I have different definitions of 'sticks', Pup. These are fine examples of shohin-in- training. Thank you for sharing your photos. Cheers S.
Bonsai was supposed to keep me away from the computer; so I got a smart phone to take outside to my trees.
