I have had this asparagus fern (Asparagus densiflora) for about 10yrs or so. It came up as a seedling in one of my other pots & I decided to pot it up & keep it small. Its been in the current pot about 3yrs & had pushed itself a fair way out so was time for a repot. A solid mass of root & tuber will have to go... The new pot was chosen by my mentor & I am liking the pairing. One of the best no care plants, it gets no fert or anything apart from watering along with the rest of the bench but doesnt mind if it misses out for extended periods either.

I had one of these, supposedly un-killable. Well I proved that theory wrong. But I like the look of yours, keep up the good work.

have you tried Sansiveria?

Sean I have killed more than a few as part of bush regen but this one just gets smaller with neglect.

Btw, I have seen a sansivera that had been confined to a small pot for 3decades without any care & it was still as big & ugly as ever

Hmmm, my Nan had one in her hallway for all of the thirty years she lived in that house, I think it used to start hyperventilating each time I visited as I believe i was the only one who used to water it and feed it.
I don't think it saw natural light in that time
So I guess that roaches would not be the only thing left alive after all
