PJF - Need some advice/direction

Hey guys,

Need some advice, I'm new to this and not sure what I've done is right... or totally wrong lol I tried this out on a short course I did, with some very vague guidance and tried a ROR with this PJF seedling, I'm hoping that it will develop into something nice.

Now that I've had a chance to think on it though, I'm worried I've jumped the gun. Should I keep him buried nice and deep to let the roots develop? Or should I leave it as is, and let the roots develop over the rock? (Is it too early for ROR?)

Here is a pic...

Please be nice :(

As soon as I got home with it, I realised it didn't look quite right, but I'm not sure how it will develop, and whether I should bury it again, or leave it as is?

thats a good sized training pot to allow the tree to develop. Just fertilise weekly and keep the water up to it and it will grow strongly.

Leave it alone now and feed well
Do not chop or prune and just let it grow wild for a year. the roots will thicken and clasp the rock, then next year you can expose it.

Awesome, thanks so much for that :)

That was the plan, just let him develop for the next year or two and see where he goes. I was just worried I'd started him too young :)
