Young Ficus Benjamina

Hi,
Heres a couple of pictures of a young Benji. I took this cutting off one of my larger trees about 9 months ago. Will the branches still thicken up within a few years, or should I put it in a bigger pot to grow?I want to keep it quite a small tree, its about as tall as 2 bic lighters.
