G'day All,

I wanted to share a couple of pics of a Radiata Pine that I have, I inherited this tree with the nursery, I've looked after it for the last 3 years under guidance. It stands at 2.2H this was after it was reduced by 1.2 m in summer, it had a hard prune and repot, unfortunately it suffered a bit of dieback after that extreme hot weather but it is recovering well.
I use to have it in a deep Chinese hexagonal bonsai pot, but it was too small and I ran the risk of it tipping over all the time, hence the current pot.
I know this is not a bonsai as such but it would make a great tree in a Japanese style garden I think...
Sorry about the crappy pics, but this tree is too big and heavy to move around, anyways interested to see what peoples thoughts and opinions are on this one.

Hi Eliest , This is great material ,if you ever want to get rid of it let me know i would suggest you feed feed feed it and bring it along to a Hiro work shop next year.

Interesting looking material Eliest and a well stocked nursery too. Why don't you post some info and pictures of your nursery in our Nurseries section?

May have to come and see this tree in the flesh, cant make out where the branches go properly. Looks like it will be a cracking tree in a few years. I would probably go the literati road if i was you as you dont have lower branches and the trunk lines are quite graceful.

Sorry I cant be of more use yet but i will tr to get down to your shop at some stage.
