A week looking around...

Hey all, spent the week and the weekend looking around some of the nurseries in western sydney, went to ray's, and his nephew's place down the road, and the place in galston, and then the one in vineyard...
I love ray's for all general stuff, and absolutely love padre pio's - out of all of them the very best pre-bonsai and such an ENORMOUS range, could spent a lifetime in there...
galston was aite, so solid trees if you're up to spending $$$, but not much for the scavenger. vineyard has the hugest range of pots, very impressive, and again lovely huge bonsai to look at.
any other nurseries in the area that are recommended??

Qitianlong there are a few others North of the river, and few out southwest and of course Bonsai south.
Let us know of any others we have missed

Qitianlong,
I always find that searching the random boutique / smaller nurseries to be a good source of stock trees.
These are the sort of places that will have the more obscure products that can often be acquired cheaply.
I picked up a Coastal Tea Tree and 2 quite unique natives the other day from one nearby my place.
Good luck!

Wanting to give it another go, I went to the bonsai nursery in Galston again... I'm sure they're really lovely people there, but for some reason each time I go there I leave feeling a little deflated.
Then went to padre pio's, and left feeling elated (along with several trees under my arm...). I think that will be my one stop tree shop from now on.
