About this time last year I saw a posting on Freecycle for a 2m tall Murraya that someone wanted removed from their garden. I enquired but had been beat to it by about an hour.. thems the breaks... On friday I saw a posting for a 2m tall Murraya with the added descriptor 'little or no digging required' I emailed & today I went & picked it up, it was the same tree

Still wrapped in the blanket they had used 12mths ago it was the easiest tree I have ever collected!

I am so glad I didnt have to dig it originally, cutting the big roots as short as I dared it has been shoehorned into this halfdepth 40cm pot and stuck in the recovery area. It will need a few years & lots of work to make something out of the straight boring trunks but atleast they have size going for them.
