Glochidion ('Cheese Tree')

Hi,
I was given a native sapling from a friend of a Glochidion sp. Common name: the Cheese Tree. Has anyone tried these for bonsai potential? I didn't see a forum topic in the native section. They remind me of a Ligustrum (privet) in leaf shape. Supposedly quite hardy too. Just wondering if I should pot it up and garden it or pot it down to bonsai, so to speak.
Thanks

Hi Lacertilian,
I have a thread on them here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4399&hilit=glochidion it has been transfered to the garden for a few years & then I will revisit it. As yours is still a sapling it will need atleast a few years growing on first, I would pot it up & grow as a garden tree until the day comes you see some real potential in the trunk.
