With Spring here i have been VERY busy with my trees and the last thing i need is another tree. But these were offered to me as the lot was being bulldozed last Saturday. I overlooked a lot of them and, by now, they will be firewood but i had to take this Crepe myrtle and next to it was the Azalea. I think the Crepe Myrtle has huge potential, not so sure about the Azalea but we will see. They are both soaking in a mix of Seasol and Aminogro. Hope they survive.

Hi Bodhi , mate i hope the dozer loaded these ,or at least you had a helping hand . How the leg going ?. Ilike the movement in the Crepe Myrtle , I have one here collected with the big olives but no sign of a shoot anywhere . Here's hoping they do something .

Great score, I love the azalea-if you decide its not working for you
I'll be keen to see this updated-I had a rather large azalea that I cut back hard to no foliage and it went to heaven. Have heard divided opinions about leaving foliage on them or not!

Love the Myrtle Bodhi, lest hope that it buds out soon

Hi Ken, yes, it was the Crepe myrtle that made me pick up the spade.

Thanks Gentlemen, i will be crossing as it was a tad out of collecting time. i have hope. Had no choice though.

Hi Alps, leg is doing better than anticipated although i felt it after the dig. The Crepe will be a stunner if it pulls through.3 and a 1/2 hours is not to big a loss if they dint but..

Hmmm, i have not encountered that problem but i have not collected an Azalea before. I have cut back heaps of Azalea's with no repercussions though. We will see.

Good aftercare on this tree has produced this in very quick time. Still waiting on the Azalea.
