With the onset f the warmer weather its time to move these monster around the back away from the radiant heat which will only get more severe as the Summer moves closer .

Unable ti lift them i have slapped up a drop axle trolley along with a converted lawn mower base .

I have tried numerous methods of moving these buggers but the single axle trolley make it very easy even on loose stones .Balance is the key and even the 40 odd kgms is no problem . These will be set up so they can have a basic first styling done over the current growing season . While there is minimum back budding a trim of the leggy foliage will hopefully work in their favor . This big maple needs some of the apex removed to force some dormant buds out lower down the trunk .

I will remove about 300mm off the top and then it can grow like mad over this season .It too has been a difficult tree to move around until now .
