FUKUZU Me.....My first White Pine.

Some say it can be cured, others...say it's a hopeless cause. Me, I tend to wobble somewhere between the two extremes like jelly out of it's bowl :lol:

No. Wait, lets rephrase that in more robust terms.

Humankind in its quest to know more, strives to the outer limits of.............ah stuff it, lets face it I just couldn't say no could I?

The variety is Pinus parviflora Fukuzumi, it's a graft but we will work on that.

Tight foliage down low. Wonder what else in there you will find? :lost:

Hi Damien , mate i purchased 2 of these a while back . Most certainly need work on the graft but mine if grafted onto white pine , some are grafted onto black pine . I have had a little play but nothing drastic , plenty of cones on it which should be removed but i have retained them in the hope some seed may be viable . Go for it i say , anything goes .

The rootstock is oversized in comparison to the graft, like you say, the graft will need work :reading:
