Abstract Ficus

Over the past couple years I have experimented with a sort-of 'Abstract' approach to design on a couple of my trees.. This is one such offender.. :shock:

Curious to hear others thoughts / ideas / opinions !

Hey CK,

Sounds interesting. Can you elaborate on what this approach is and how it differs from what is already out there?

It has a really good trunk movement. :tu:

The 2nd picture in the first post has the highest branch being at the outside of the diameter. I would wire this one down but maybe just to the horrizontal. It could even be taken off.

It does look good. I like the work you have done with the roots too. :cool:

Hey Joel, Basically.. there was no clear approach.. Abstract.. I was a newbie. still am.
I try to be far more formal in design as of late. :reading: :D

i really like it reminds me of a Brasilian Capoeira Dancer/fighter with dreads mid Ginga maybe pivoting or turning for a kick hands up hair flying really like it actually :cool: ;)

Thank you... i agree, i need to bring the branches back down. Glad someone noticed the root and nebari work! :cool:

I know can see what you mean but I say take it in whatever abstract direction you see.

I like its elongated canopy. But your closer to it than me. :2c:
