The Maples that were never meant to be.

This afternoon while pottering I spotted this awesome sight.
Nt the prettiest pic ever posted on this forum but who cares
(I will calm down later on I promise)
There they are after 12+ months of neglect and despondency.
There are about 5 seedlings there, some of which may not make it due to the late notice but
They are off a Acer plamatum Dissectum cultivar which I collected seeds from 2 years back.
When I say neglect, I am indeed meaning it. That tray was full (10mm) from the top with medium, now there is a measly 1/2 a cup left but here they come. I will be on Mollusc patrol for the next few weeks to make sure they harden off a little to get them past the salad greens stage and we will see how they go for the coming years.
