Its interesting, because in photo 1, I prefer this as a finished composition. But photo 2 shows off the texture of the stone in a more pleasing way for my eyes.

At this time, I have nothing to match so I will have to strike some cuttings, and work out which Melaleucas are best. These rocks were destined for the Myrtleford ranges of Victoria but never got there.

Hi Pup ,not really convinced with the tactics used here , maybe if you send it to the Myrtleford ranges so i could get a closer look . I love the natural texture of those rocks and their positioning is spot on , makes me want to get out there and shave those phoney rocks i made to look a little more realistic . In all honesty i like where it heading , I know it hard to get things in proportion on a landscape like this especially if the natural flora is used .

Mine is a little out of control , but with some non leisure/spare time coming up from Thursday i will be in a position to sit around a trim a few plants into shape . I was given a hedge trimmer from the Outlaws just to keep things tidy around here and save some time , might put it to use on a few trainers .

With that tray concealed it looks like a natural storm brewing in the Kimberley , less is more and it works very well here , that back drop works a treat or be it the position of the sun on it . I really need to spend some serious time on most of my Penjing , Ishitsuki and landscapes ,what the heck all of them there tree's in the yard , but i have had to get my priorities in order and do the renovations required to keep the lady happy .

Did you get permission from the aboriginal elders to remove that stone ? A curse will befall you and your family for taking it.

I got them from an elder, so yes I had permission, but the bone has been pointed and the Kaduchi man has been for a visit.

Just a recap on this setting the Borya spp did not do too well so I replaced it with this Melaleuca. That has finally taught me, that the do not always rise up like the phoenix.
So as the Borya is back in a bigger growing pot I thought we could have a fire. Here it is now.

I love it. That tree looks amazing. You have really captured the spirit of the outback.
