Trident Autumn Colour

Hi All,
I was at Mr Hanh's Nursery today, I had to take a pic of this it look awesome, this tree is huge :D

Doh! I shoulda removed it, for the photo.... the base of the tree is crazy, Mr Hanh has a habit of placing bulkier items on the some of his pots, when I asked him why he said its cause of watering... I dunno....

theres moisture under the rocks works like mulching kinda. keeps the roots warm too. :D

Also if your watering with a hose or a larger/stronger supply of water than the regular watering can, it can wash away soil. Some people place rocks/timber on the soil so that the water stream can hit that and spread so it doesn't wash away soil. On some of my smaller trees with less soil, i sit rocks on the top of them to hold in a dipper for my irrigation system, as they don't stick too well to a course mix.
