Hi all, I have 2 succulant accent plants, (pineapple head and jade) and I've bought them inside due to being too wet. suggestions please? I've got them sitting on top of the fish tank, and was wondering if they should just stay there for the rest of winter?

suggestions please, the frost hit the jade (even tho it was under some shelter) pretty bad

I'm no expert but from what I know winter is the prime growing season for most cactui and succulents. . I could be wrong but by going by my succulent collection at home they are growing like mad, some of the tripling in size.
My concern about having the on top of you fish tank it the humidity that escapes from the top of the tank will rise into the roots of your succulent and may cause root damage. I would leave the out side under cover and see how they go.

Hey Anth, the tank these days has 4 oscars (lets see me kill them) 2 clown loaches, some kuhli's surviving the oscars, and one getting bigger murray cod... strangely enough, the guppies, neons, mollies, and shrimp went missing... I wondered if the warmth from the tank would help dry out the root mass? it's pretty wet

If the leaves have turned brown you will need to take them off. Defoliation in the middle of Winter I have just defoliated one myself that was frost struck and moved it into my glass house.

yes, the frost knocked off the jade's leaves, or many of them. more concerned about the wet roots tho... what do you think bodhidharma? inside or out?
