I do love Literati/Bunjin, this little Radiata is 160mm high and has a nice feel to it.

Just curious as to what it is wrapped around the big bend? I am guessing it is to help stop callousing/swelling?

Matt, i have no idea what the snap and repair technique is mate (well actually i do) , if there is one i wouldn't use it on a PINE.

Luke, it is a cable tie my freind and it is simply to hold the leader tight to the trunk in a downward fashion.
