Melaleuca ericifolia I think???

Collected a Melaleuca ericifolia (I think that's what it is). I'm hoping it survives as I like the trunk line on it. It is about 4-5cm at the base. The main trunk is 20cm high. 30cm to the top of the foliage and 30cm across the foliage. There were on 3 big roots and a few small roots but not many. It was in a real swampy/wet area. Does anyone know if these back bud on old wood. Anything you would reccomemd to help it survive. I put some root hormone on the roots before planting.

It's not doing anything yet but it is cooler down here than Newcastle. I broke a small branch the other day and it is still green inside so hope yet. There are still green leaves on it as well. Got a pic of yours Rintar????

I agree Jas. I take them at their word. I had the pleasure of meeting Pup a while back and his knowledge was amazing. I just look at their trees and dream.
