Hi
Just wanting some advise on how to clean up the bark on this dwarf umbrella as this plant was covered pretty high for a while with soil that has stained the bark. Also I have tried Lime sulphur on old Figs before with great success to stop rotting will this harm this Dwarf umbrella if painted on the trunks to whiten them?
Thanks in advance.
Mick

All of my umbrella's have that dirty look, one more reason for folks to ignore them as potensai lol, maybe just an el cheapo tooth brush and some elbow grease. Maybe next repot, give it a high powered spray from a hose fitting.

If you paint lime sulfur on live wood it will kill whatever it comes into contact with. Just a brush on an umbrella tree or leve it and it will grow out in time.
