no strangler antt, I've looked closely. Check out the close-ups.

Very charismatic aren't they? Up here in the tropical north of the land-down-south big Melaleuca often have aerial roots. I even get aerial roots on my Mel bonsai! I have seen them in many species but most common in Melaleuca leucodendra.
