Thanks for doing this Leigh I am having a ball :) I thought this was a great progressing trident when you showed me recently. I would be interested if you could refresh my memory on the history of what you have done to grow the trunk and help heal the scarring. I may remember that it is due for a repot?
I am trying to put a plan together for chopping and regrowing an apex on mine. As I said I am not game to plant this one out in the ground and will be after as much growth as I can in a large pot.

Thank you for showing us the impressive nebari on this tree. We get to see a lot of trees with all of the canopy showing but not good shots of impressive nebari. Which is very necessary for good structure in trees that are not a collected one. Which takes a long time to correct. Thanks Leigh :)

Hi all,

This is an old pic - I dont know why I took the pic like this! Maybe I just wanted a pic of the nebari.

The tree has come along since then. I will have it into a good pot come Spring. I expect to show it a year later.

I will get a new pic when I repot it.

Cheers,
Leigh.

Have you thought about grafting some roots into the obvious cavern in the nebari?

With this hole filled it would make the trunk even more impressive.

Hi Paul,

I hadnt thought about it, but now that you mention it, I will see how I feel about it after repotting and might just see about doing something like that. Thanks for pointing that out.

Cheers,
Leigh.
