As part of the AABC Convention, Bonsai Northwest will be having an Exhibition and Sale that is open for the General public to attend as well as for the AABC registerants.If you are an AABC Convention registratant then you will be lucky enough to see the Exhibition earlier than the public as well as have first dibs at the exceptional sales area.

Bonsai Exhibition: see Victoria’s premier Bonsai Trees on display.
Specialty Sales Area: Bonsai trees, pots, tools, magazines and other accessories for sale.

Although I couldn't make it to a full day of the convention Ive managed an hour (or two) off so I can nick in to see the exhibition! And visit Pat K and Shibui in the sales area!

Very nice exhibition congrats Bonsai Northwest and all the other contributors. My favourite would have to be the (very large) chinese elm raft. Forgot the camera so no pics sorry, I trust Gerard will be able to post a few more ... viewtopic.php?f=25&t=11758
Picked up a couple of very nice Pat Kennedy pots too Also nice to meet many new faces including Neil from Shibui and nearly went all out and bought one of Bruce Argate's handmade stands (his toolbox with turntable is amazing ) All up quite an enjoyable morning.

I purchased this flowering apricot I have had a small one for years and can't believe how long it is taking to put on some girth.
This one was not cheap but I love the species and have a good idea how long it has taken to get to this stage

very nice purchase Gerard, I would love one but wouldn't take to the humidity up here.

Thanks for posting those pics Steven. I didn't get a chance to take good photos in the sales area due to obviously making sure the rest of the convention was running smoothly. Thanks for the positive comments as we wanted to have a quality sales area.
