Really great tree to work with, get it to a workshop where you can get some very good first hand advice.
I would reduce the size of most of the jins, pinch back the foliage fairly hard and wire everything in sight.
This tree could look very good very soon.

Everything he said (sound advice)Plus, get to work wiring out all your secondary branching. Very important on Junipers.

Thanks for the replies. What is meant by wiring the secondary branches? Are these the shoots within the pads of foliage?

I am sorry i did not look at your Bonsai age and did not explain myself.

The large branches coming off your trunkline are called main branching. If you follow along the main branches you will see other, smaller branches coming off it to the left and to the right. These are to be selected in an alternate pattern and wire into place. once you have established this the little branches coming off the secondary branches are called tertiary branches and so on. I know this might sound confusing but within a short period of time this will make sense.
