Anybody out there know anything about Ridomil as a fungicide on bonsai trees, I use it on all of my orchids(with success) and what with all the steamy weather we are going to get in Sydney seem to be getting a few brown spots on the leaves of some of my trees. :?:

Hi reddoggy, Yes I like you have been using Ridomil for a few years now on orchids and they can be fragile little so and so`s so I cannot see why you could not use it on trees and ornamentals, it certainly works on orchids and a lot of the professional growers use it a it is very easy to use, just a few pellets around the top of the pots works wonders. It is a Systemic Fungicide
But like any chemical be careful and only use at application rates and if in doubt use it on a tree that you can afford to lose if something goes wrong, I think it is used mainly by professional horticulture crop growers.
Google it and use with Caution. :imo:

Reddoggy, I agree with Paul W about using Ridomil. I, too, use it on my orchids. Be careful with application rates.
I think if it is OK on orchids it would be OK on bonsai. Try it and see how you go. Perhaps start with figs. :lost:
