These were like a plague of locusts , arriving from under the rear deck this morning .

Arriving from 6.00am and still running around late this afternoon. We collected around 200 of them and released them amongst the Bonsai and training beds .

Baby Praying Mantis are white and turn brown within hours . I have never experienced this type of hatching before so i thought i would share it you good folk . The wife was worried the baby Blue tongue lizards would consume the majority of them as we have 12 babies around the yard , so we made the effort to place them out of harms way .They should be safe and turn into Mean Green Eating Machines .
Cheers Alpineart

Hi Alpineart,
or should I address you as Sir David A?
In a very very soft but sombre astute tone........
``Here............from beneath the deck, awakend from their nesting area............
Their mother, long gone.............their father.........well..........
his fate sealed after relationships.........with her female partner the persuasive, but yet lethal aggressor.......
They emerge victorius !!...........the new fledling of their union.............
The Praying Mantis...................
Though small in size.........their sheer numbers and ablity to blend into their enviroment...............
coupled with their sheer tenacity and hunger from eons of instict to exist and survive .................
Drive them on..........``
Cue music.............fade to black.

Well done Alpine. The karma collected will be great and well deserved. Also pest control a la naturale, the way it should be.
