Found these two on the verge of death, were in an old dried out planter filled with cigarette butts and the like. Potted them with roots exposed for perhaps future 'over rock' onnce they are healthy. a bit similar to how they were when found. They are very dry.
They both started new growth quickly after water, a bit of seasol and juice from a worm farm. There was a hot day recently and the new growth has gone 'fuzzy' but still seem to be growing? Haven't done a bottlebrush before but loved their starved roots so any advice would be appreciated. -Cheers

G'day mate, the hot spell frazled some of the new shoots on a couple of my trees including a Bottlebrush. I wouldn't worry too much ,just keep up the water and place in a shady location ,hopefully they start shooting again in a few weeks,i wouldn't worry about seasol or anything, they'll do fine without it ,

i should of been more specific

, not total shade , more like a shady spot with filtered sun light(thru garden trees or shadecloth),

Craig has given some good advice there, however I would be more specific it NEEDS heaps of water.
When they go the colour you have that is what they are lacking. Callistemons are very thirsty beasties.
Cheers Pup
