Hello John,
The Sydney based company, Australian Native Landscapes probably produces the bulk of so called "potting soils" in Australia.
You Do Not want to know what is in them!!!! There is no problem, just follow proper hygiene rules.
Go to their website and email them ..............
http://www.anlscape.com.au
If you do not have any joy let me know and I will get you a contact through the side door.
Zyggy.

Are you talking about pine bark ? Curl grubs are larvae from beetles . Maybe pine bark would be a good deterrent for them ? Do u know anything about this John ?

Yes pine bark or any part of pines i believe are toxic to many invertebrates. Not sure if they are toxic to curl grubs though. Has anyone ever had curl grubs attack a pine?
