Evolution of THAT Cascade

Hi guys
further to posting "Restyle Of A Cascade", here's what it may evolve to.
My photo program is pretty crude, but this is the best I could do. Obviously the branch would be repositioned and probably the pads shortened. ANY THOUGHTS???
By the way, the tree would still stand about 600mm tall and be potted into a round PK poy suitable for the literati style
cheers
dave

G'day Dave,

Why not put it up in the 360 section so we can all get a better feel for it and them make our judgment?

Hi Steven,
might do that.
Grant, does that mean you don't like the new possible design?
cheers

i do like the way it is though, and i do like your 7 aswell, but if it were my tree... ask 6 people get six different views...

i would like more than 6 views to make such a decision on a tree of this caliber, in saying that... i nearly always work with the most dynamic composition, and i nearly always find that one of my first "feelings" of the tree's story, i go for :D

I must say that I am absolutely NOT a fan of that type of style on a tree. I have seen enough one-branched bonsai to last a lifetime. I think this tree is much better in its current iteration than it was before or would be after that operation.

It's a beautiful tree. Love it for a while before you do anything so drastic. You have time.

Hi Guys,
I must have led a sheltered life recently, never having heard the term "7" for a tree.
When restyling last weekend there weren't too many who agreed with that "one branch" transformation. So Chris, most agree with you.
Aaron, I love your photo and thanks for going to that trouble. I really do like how it looks.
The trouble with the tree at present is the way the branches leave the trunk, curling back on themselves and I don't like the way that little apex is supported by a little piece of trunk on the LHS. It may even look better by losing that apex altogether.

I do feel the "7" may be implemented down the track, but it would be an easier proposition to sell in its current form.
cheers
