tony that second trunk shows good character. subtle movement, good muscling and flare. well done.

mate what do you think... i got ideas for them already, especially one of them, if they bud where i want them to then we are gonna have some sweet trees!!!!

let me get some other angle shots of it tomorrow and then i will show ya, just for now i will let ya know the pic you see it has a lean that goes back, a slight angle change from that shot to show this angle, and then some movement, if it all goes to plan, i will sketch it up for ya pal what got me with this one was the wicked nebari it has i nearly fell over when i scraped the leaves and soil back abit to reveal this beast!

cant get the sketching right, you will have to wait for the other angles and then the virt, lets just say, extreme taper, masive movement and tight, tight foliage pads, creating a super sumo, the nebari spreads massively, bout 10 inches, finished plan height.... 8 inches..

think i can do it????

you have already given it away in the cropping of the pics. the one in the middle shows a good line of movement on the right. good flare too. the third is good too. like all collected or field grown stock the existing roots are to thick for trunk caliper, so in time will be much better if you can intriduce better proportioned roots. with out killing the basal flare. layering each individual root at the right spot could be an answer.

ahhh i dont think ya have picked it mate..

the tree isnt gonna be big, the roots will probly stay as is, they have pretty flat bottoms.

yea, i think this might just be pushing it a bit for shohin size, i think we will be looking up at about 350mm height wise for this one

that wont be so bad as it wont be massive for me to cart around and will be a nice tree

mate i would of filled my car if i didnt have the three kids and the wife in the back (although that hasnt stopped me before on nursery crawls ) yea i got three, tony got a couple, dayne has to go back to the spot to get a big one out that didnt want to move to easy, and i think shan just wanted to come along for the ride

i got plenty of time to develop the trees mate and the signs of life so far are the fact that they arent moving to easy in the boxes i put them in so i think root development is underway for sure no popping as of yet, but i havent checked em this morning and i didnt dare put em in the fast grow system as yet without to many roots
