Hi,
I have been lucky enough to receive pot number 9. I appreciate it very much.
Thanks go to Steven and Penny

Steven did ask me to pick one, but I asked Steven
to pick for me -- and it is among the ones that I like best.
For me this is the second pot by an Australian artist that I have. The pot is better
than in the pictures.
I have a tree for it, but it will have to wait till summer
Best regards.

WooHoo Congrats Jarrod
Mine won't be the best so I better make it the first. This "waxy flower tree" has been in a pot that always needed refilling as the soil washed away from the root ball. Hopefully it with sit better in this one. It is a tree that has some very intresting angles so a static picture does it little justice. It has some flower buds I will repost when it flowers out.
I love getting presents turn up at the door even if our delivery boy is a bit strange. I am sure he stands at the door long before he knocks
Thanks Heaps Steven

Congrats Jarrod
I am glad it went to a young person we need to encourage you all.
I have yet to see my pot in the muck so to speak. I am sure to have something to put in it. Native of course. Now when do the PK's arrive so we can
start the frantic posting again.
I have a Bottle brush coming into flower soon it is full of buds. So may be a before and after series. As per BCI or Horticulture Mag articles. Could win me a well what ever

Thank you to those members who posted nice comments about my pots - especially to Pat -praise indeed coming from you. Good on you Steven for keeping this forum so lively.
I've been a bit of a lurker lately as I've been in the middle of a commission to make pots as trophies for a popular all breeds dog show. It's done now so onto making pots for Central coast and Newcastle exhibitions. Congratulations to Jarrod. I hope you all enjoy the pots.
Penny.

I just received my Pot number 4 of 14. Now I have a huge problem.
Sue has coverted it for her pot collection. Now I know what people say ITS mine but, and It is a BIG but.I owe her about 5 pots. That I took for my Shito size tree's. So I have another totally different bugger moment. I will have to wait like I did for the pot, but a lot longer I think. Is that not what Bonsai is all about .

Gday folks!
In case you were wondering what became of '11 of 14'... It now resides atop a pile of Bonsai books next to my computer, from which position it taunts me to find a worthy tree. The look and feel of an eroded river bank leads me to think that a weeping River Red might be appropriate (of course I was going to say that, wasn't I?

).
Thanks to Mr Steven for his generosity, and thanks to Ms Penny for her wonderful and unique pottery!
I urge every recipient of a limited edition Mudlark pot to keep the general Membership informed about what they choose to do with their pot.
Thanks again.
Fly.

I concur with you Mr Fly but Mrs Pup has it sitting where if I move it, it will be instantly missed.
I would also like to take this opportunity, to thank Penny for such a beautiful example of true Australian pots. I saw one at our Auction on Monday night it sold, but I cant remember for how much. I do know who bought it so I might be able to get that one for the Mrs and get mine back!!.

Not the boss been married to long and I am still around

I received the prize pot. And oh my gosh, it is amazing. A massize thank you to everyone who had a hand in setting up this prize. I am like the others who have received their pots... I have nothing that will do the pot any justice. Will update the progress of this pot as I find a tree worthwhile.
Who thinks it should be a native?
Cheers,
and thanks again.

.......the price will go to person who contributes to the greater good of Australian Bonsai.........I suppose that keeps the Kiwis out
Never mind, all best wishes to any recipient and my you graze the pot with an equally fantasic bonsai!
