Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Annual Exhibition
I take full responsibility for not posting any photos. I normally take a photo of every tree but this year it slipped past. I have asked other members of the Goulburn club to post a couple and that should happen either tonight or tomorrow.
This medium for "advertising" our exhibition is terrific and I would like to thank all those who came along for a visit. If I can I like to talk with everyone who attends (difficult I know) just to see what interests them in the bonsai world, and usually to pick their brains.
My apologies and my thanks.

I was wondering want the expert opinions were of our new set up. We have moved to a blue table top with white background, and included the bamboo seperators and cards.

Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Annual Exhibition
Over the two days of our exhibition we had a "bonsai progression" with a number of members contributing. The idea was to have a tree, and a design, and over the two days see what we could do. Please excuse the quality of the trees before photo, unfortunately we don't have a better one.
I think the final product is on its way, but we did not do the fine wiring as we thought the tree had enough trauma. We may conduct round 2 next year?
The idea was simple - get tree; draw design; trim tree; carve tree; burn carved area; apply raffia; wire; place branches into position; water and hope for the best.
Hope you like it!

Well I so glad you liked our show leonarda. It was great to see you also. Watto put a lot of effort and time into our new look. I for one loved the new look. By the way I have ALPACAS, they are so much better.

Yes I know it is a little late after the event but........
Many of you have asked for photos so here are some.
Just don't be too critical of the quality.
