Taxodium Mucronatum(or Distichum var Mexicanum)in my photos above is classed as "semi-evergreen". It loses the last of its leaves at the end of winter as the spring growth comes on.It can have old and new on it at the same time.Waltron wrote:Does anyone know if there is a variety of Swampie that's evergreen? Mine hasn't changed colour or lost any leaves this year. Come to think of it, I think it was purchased from The Imagination Tree so maybe Chris'll know.
The colder and the windier the spot the quicker it colours up and loses its leaves.
