I hope that's not what the thing looks like at the moment! :o
I think the best value this kind of tree has is layering every branch you can (big and small/thick and thin) and then using that material for clump and/or group plantings. That way they are genetically identical and you could end up with high quality and valuable specimens in a relatively short space of time. (5 -10 years instead of half a life time).
